In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the casino with her girlfriends and going to see Bob, her hairdresser/owner of Headliner Beauty Salon, Scranton, and watching her Lifetime movies in her spare time. She will be truly missed and always loved by everyone who knew her.From 2014 to 2016 Donna was the owner of Donna’s County Kitchen in Dickson City. She was also employed in the past for many years as a restaurant server at Linda Kay’s and Green Ridge Restaurant.

Esther attended North Pocono High School and before her illness was employed as an nurse’s aide. Surviving are her children, Reginald J. Knight of Elmhurst Twp.; Joann Williams of Baltimore, Md.; and Michelle Parry of Des Moines, Iowa; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Charles was a United States Navy veteran, serving on the Aircraft Carrier, USS Kearsarge, CVS 33 during the Korean conflict, and later re-enlisted to serve with his son in the New Jersey Army National Guard. Prior to his retirement as General Manager for 21st Century Corp. he was active in Scouting as Scoutmaster for local troop 286 in Bloomingdale and leaves a legacy of service to others and patriotic values.
Interment and committal services will be conducted at Hollisterville Cemetery, Salem Twp. Interment and committal services will be conducted at St. Catherine’s Cemetery. Charlene was a graduate of West Scranton High School, and was employed as a Certified Nurses Aid for many years. Charlene was a member of Light of Christ Church in Jefferson Twp. And a member of the Greene-Dreher Volunteer Fire Association. Charlene served faithfully as a member of Green-Dreher Twp.

He served in the United States Air Force as a sergeant from 1966 to 1970. After leaving the service, Joe decided to further his education in electronics. He graduated from Penn State University with a degree in electrical engineering. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Eltz-Beynon.

She was the only student in the long history of the University of Pennsylvania to include herself as a subject in her dissertation. He was also preceded in death by his brother, David Schreiber, in January 2020. They traveled to numerous exotic places over the years. He also enjoyed spending time with his dogs, working on his Koi pond and watching football games. Joe was employed by RCA as an electronics equipment electrician until the plant closed in 2001.

Before his retirement, Ron was the owner and operator of Legg’s Towing/Garage in Covington Twp. For more than 44 years until a fire destroyed his business in 2014. Joan A. Pallante of Covington Twp., Pa., passed away at her home Saturday after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. The couple was married April 28, 1962.Born at her family home in Paulsboro, N.J., Joan was a distinguished educator who earned a bachelor of arts degree cum laude and a master’s degree with honors from Rowan University . Joan was awarded her doctoral degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Wayne was also preceded in death by his sister, Karen Ruggerio; and brother, Harold Moore. Wayne L. Moore, 73, of Jefferson Twp., died Tuesday at the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center following an illness.Born Jan. 17, 1947 in Mount Cobb, he was the son of the late Willard and Margaret Moore. Wayne was a United States Army veteran serving in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Joan was preceded in death by her brother, Jerome; and sister-in-law, Margaret Joyce.
Robin was employed as a certified registered nurse practitioner. Fred was a United States Navy veteran, and prior to his retirement was employed by the City of Scranton as fire prevention officer with the Scranton Fire Department. He was a longtime member of the Pioneer Gun Club of Forkston. I would like to give a special, heartfelt thank you to Dr. Darlene Dunay and all the staff at Allied Hospice for the wonderful care they gave Joe.

Donald served honorably in the United States Navy, serving on the USS Wasp – Aircraft Carrier. Upon discharge from the Navy, Donald joined his father’s automobile business, working as a mechanic at Beynon Motor Sales in the Green Ridge section of Scranton. Donald later worked as a truck driver and in the automotive parts business. Donald S. Beynon of Tunkhannock passed away peacefully Monday at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore, surrounded by those who loved him.Born March 11, 1939, in Scranton, he was the son of the late Daniel and Sophie Beynon.
